I'm having a lot of trouble thinking of blog titles.

Hellooo! I haven't forgotten about my faithful blog readers (all 2 of you!) Things have been busybusybusy, which is always both good and bad. As some of you may know, my MiMaw passed away last Thursday (the 4th), so I've been in Louisiana from then until mid-this week. Now I'm back and trying to get back on schedule with things. I took off from my internship this week, but I'm so ready to get back! I want to get out and do things! It's weird because I feel like I haven't really started yet, Tiffany's been on vacation, then I left for a bit, so it's been difficult getting a regular schedule going. Hopefully that will change soon.
I started my coffee shop work, which has been great! I think I'm really going to like it. I worked two days this week, but mostly just helped the assistant manager, Gretchen, close up the shop. I think I'm going to enjoy mostly working with the people. I feel like I'm lacking some solid friends here :( I didn't realize how hard it is, but without classes and roomates, it's difficult! Hopefully through my jobs i'll meet more people.
Daniel got a job too! Very exciting. Except now, we barely see each other. Haha. He's working at a very upscale resturant in Chinatown called Indebleu serving and busing. I'm happy for him!
Tomorrow we both have a day off (rare) so maybe we'll go somewhere or do something. The only thing DC lacks is a decent body of water. The Potomac is lovely, really, but I need some sand and a few ripples of water to make me happy.
Well, this post was mostly just to let people know that I'm still alive and well, which I am, so I'll write more later.
Oh and those darn photos, I'll get those up soon too.
love to all :)
